Synopsis
A madman named Art the Clown terrorizes two friends and anyone who gets in his way on Halloween. David Howard Thornton was the sixth person to audition for Art The Clown after Mike Giannelli retired from the role and acting. During the audition, he initially mimicked the taste of his decapitated victim’s blood, but then added salt to enhance the flavor. In scenes where Tara is gagged with duct tape, the duct tape obviously doesn’t make contact with the bottom of her mouth in some earlier scenes, while in other scenes it’s wrapped more tightly around both lips.

I’ll try. Have you ever seen a slasher movie where the characters make SO MANY STUPID CHOICES that you stop hoping they get out of there and instead hope they are put out of their misery? Yes, this movie is like that. Art the Clown is a plus because he is genuinely terrifying – great costumes/makeup and great characterization on his part.
They weren’t bad concepts, just poorly executed (no pun intended)
But ultimately the victims committed the sin that I didn’t care if they lived or died. The movie is reminiscent of some traditional slasher movies when it comes to who the killer is and what his motivations are. For a slasher movie, this doesn’t bother me at all, but the stupid choices the characters make are awful regardless of the type of movie. Art the Clown, Pennywise and Killer Klowns are just some of the weird creatures that give us goosebumps.
